Rhis is from my AstroTarot show that aired January 9, 2020.
First off, let’s start with a little numerology. The year 2020 breaks down to a four in numerology. In numerology this number is all about a strong foundation. The number 4 represents stability, family, home, order, conservation, peace, our physical reality, and practical solutions. This number is all about getting things done. The underlying energy of this year is going to be about gaining a clear vision (20/20 vision) and accomplishing it. This energy wants us to focus on what truly matters in our lives, looking at our dreams, then working toward physically manifesting them. This year will provide opportunities for us and will tell us to go forward and truly invest in yourself and commit to creating a strong foundation that you will be able to build your dreams on.
January is considered the first month in the Gregorian calendar, and Julius Caesar named it after the God Janus, which has two faces…one looking behind him and one looking forward. And as this month is considered to be the beginning of a new year, we can definitely understand this concept. Now when we add the first month to the numerology we get 5. The number 5 is a very spiritual number, it is about the esoteric and metaphysical teachings, it is about living life and truly encapsulates the phrase of “we are spiritual beings having a human experience. It represents our sight, taste, touch, hearing, and smell; as well as Earth, Air, fire, water, and Spirit. We have 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot. So you could say this number is a very sensual number. This number can seem undependable and maybe indecisive, but remember this number is about experiences life. This is the energy of being the seeker and the teacher at the same time. When we use 2 and 3 to get the number 5, it represents the sacred marriage. Helen Blavatsky said “5 is the spirit of life and human love”. It’s the adventure that calls to the number 5. The 5th card in the tarot is the Hierophant/shaman who is a bridge from this world to the otherworld….all this is one reason why the pentagram is so important. 5 reminds us that change is our only constant, as the number 5 is always moving…or I should say experiencing. Remember, it has the seekers energy, so it wants to go out and experience life in all of its essence. This also advises us that adaptation is essential in our world of constant change, as that will be our survival. As we move forward into this new year, sure we do look back at the past, and we should do so in an inventory way…what worked, what didn’t; what we need to change, to get better at, what we need to leave behind and what new paths we need to go down. A prophet and a dreamer at the same time, it’s no wonder we have this number to begin our year, as this is one that truly lives for the experience…speaking of which, let’s talk about what is coming us astrologically…talk about excitement. Yes, we have a lot of excitement this month.
I’ll be posting the rest in a separate post.
